Markleeville Art and Soul is a full service Gallery representing over sixty five local and regional Artists. As such, a great deal of our inventory is original one of a kind pieces. We make every effort to keep our website up to date and remove purchased pieces. On the off chance that a purchase occurs for an item that is no longer in stock, you will be refunded 100% immediately, or at the worst, the next business day. The photos on the site are of the actual Artwork unless stated otherwise. Certain objects are crafted in multiples and being handmade no two are alike. We will e-mail photos of the actual piece/s upon request. A large percentageof the Artwork in the Gallery is consigned, the Gallery has no ownership interest in these pieces, upon purchase title to the works transfers directly from the Artist to the purchaser.


We accept credit and debit cards and cash of course. Sorry we do not accept American Express of Discover cards. As a practice we don't accept personal checks but will consider these on a case by case basis. We do not capture and store Credit or debit information information. As a rule deposits for Artwork are non-refundable. We reluctantly accept credit or debit by phone occasionally and destroy this information upon completion of the transaction, we never store this information.

We take great care in preparing your purchase for shipping. In most cases we ship your purchase by the next business day. Due to the nature of some of the works, they may take a few days to prepare for shipping. We use USPS whenever possible as they do the best job delivering delicate pieces intact, cost approx. 1/3 the others and deliver on average three times as fast. Shipping charges on the site are estimates and for the most part accurate. We do include a small fee for packaging due to the amount of care we take in shipping. At times we refund part of the shipping as we do not profit from shipping and will never increase shipping charges without your approval. We insure everything we ship and title and responsibility transfer to the purchaser upon delivery to the shipper. Should your shipment suffer damages, please take lots of photos of the damage and packaging and file a claim with the shipper. If your shipment arrives with noticeable outward damage please have the shipper make note on the delivery receipt. We will gladly assist you in the event of a claim. Free shipping applies to the continental US only. We ship to Canada, Mexico and will ship to other countries on approval. We are not responsible for any import duties, fees, taxes etc. in conjunction with shipping over seas.

Privacy and Security

The Gallery doesn't collect, have access to, or store any personally identifiable information in the operation of this website. We do at times collect your name, phone number, address, e-mail in the normal course of business which we securely store and never under any circumstance share this with any third party. We do use Google and Bing Analytics which have privacy policies that may contradict ours and we have no control over their usage.

The website uses third party secure, 128-bit encrypted and verified shopping cart. We do not have access to, nor store, any financial information collected by the cart.

From time to time we will collect e-mail, contact information etc. in the normal course of business. Under no circumstance will we share or sell this information to anyone for any reason.
